It is awful, Caron. It is beyond my comprehension how they can see this young man like this and not know that he is physically and mentally ill and that he needs special care.

These people have no control over what they are thinking or doing. As a society we need to be more educated on this disease so as to avoid situations like this. The last place they need to be is in jail. They do, however, need more supervision than most people realize, though. It is hard for a caregiver to work to provide and be there. It’s also hard because at times they can seem fairly normal. The irrational thinking is not always consistent in the earlier stages.

I have no heard any other updates on this situation. I do hope and pray that he is getting the care that he needs.

This is unbelieveable this child needs to go home. I’m so embarrassed at how our legal system is so negelecting there duties. I have never ever understood BS like this. It doesn’t take a minute to arrest them but to get them out when the law is clearly wrong takes forever…..
